Once Summer School has completed, navigate to Summer Education Assessments.
Add Summer Education Program
Navigation: Student Information > State Programs > Summer Education
Use the Summer Education (North Carolina) | Infinite Campus article for directions on how add the summer school program for an individual student or import for multiple students using the Federal/State Program Updater tool.
For Students that attended the summer program:
- The start and end dates for the summer education program must match the start and end date of student's enrollment in the summer program.
- Indicate which priority a student was assigned. If you did not assign a priority to students when offered, select FP: First Priority.
- The Education Program should be HLP: Helene Learning Program.
- Select the assessment that was used for pre-assessment and post-assessment purposes from the Assessment Used dropdown. If more than one was used, you can select more than one option in this field. The assessments chosen in this field will be the scores that will need to be uploaded for each student in the next step.
- Add comments if needed for local use in the Comments field.
For Students that were invited but did not attend the summer program:
- Each student that was invited to the summer education program must have a Summer Education program added, whether they attended or not.
- Students that are invited but do not attend should have start and end dates equal to the start and end dates of the full summer program.
- The Parent/Guardian Declined field must be checked.
- Indicate which priority a student was assigned. If you did not assign a priority to students when offered, select FP: First Priority.
- The Education Program should be HLP: Helene Learning Program.
- The Assessment Used field can be left blank.
- Add comments if needed for local use in the Comments field.
The Federal/State Program Update Wizard can be used to import program information for students. Use the Federal/State Program Updater | Infinite Campus for directions on how to use the Import File option found in this tool.
Files must be in a *.csv format, but each header can be mapped to a specific field, and each value in each field can be mapped to the correct value.
