The Start of School process begins after all Beginning of Year tasks have been completed. It includes the work that takes place before students arrive and continues through the first ten instructional days of the school year.
During this time, PSUs verify that student, staff, scheduling, attendance, grading, and other important information is correct. Schools should also follow any local procedures to help ensure a successful start to the school year.
