Purpose
This check identifies any 365-day suspension (005), or Expulsion (006, 141) that do not have a Zero-Tolerance Expulsion (110).
The Office of Civil Rights collects information on long-term suspensions and expulsions that resulted because of Zero-Tolerance Policies. This check looks for any 365-day suspension (005), or Expulsion (006, 141) that do not have a Zero-Tolerance Expulsion (110). Not all “005”, or “006” should have a “110” entered with it, so this flag can be ignored if the “005”, or “006” was not a result of a Zero-Tolerance Policy.
Severity
Warning
What to Review
Review whether the suspension or expulsion resulted from a zero-tolerance policy.
